  53. Pricing:
  54. All prices are shown in US dollars and payment must be made in USD
  55. drawn on a US Bank. If you would prefer to pay the equivalent amount
  56. in another currency or by other means, please contact us for information.
  57. New Zealand customers may pay in New Zealand dollars - please contact
  58. us for a current conversion rate.

  60. Deductions:
  61. We require that the total amount of our invoice be paid to us; it
  62. appears to be "standard operating procedure" for some banks to deduct
  63. fees before sending payment to us, which we will not accept. Please
  64. double-check that your bank understands that no deductions must be
  65. made from the amount sent to us or your payment will be rejected.

  67. "Site license"
  68. A site license for Mercury MTS manuals provides you with one master
  69. copy of the manual and a license permitting you to make an unlimited
  70. number of copies of that master for use at one site. A "site" is
  71. defined as the extent of an organization in one metropolitan area, so
  72. if you have four offices in one town, one site license will cover them
  73. all. Only ONE organization may hold a site license - you may not
  74. distribute copies of a site-licensed master outside your organization.
  75. Note that State or National Governments and Local bodies do not
  76. consitute organizations for the purposes of this definition. Site
  77. licensed manuals include ASCII and RTF versions of the manual on
  78. diskette.
  79.  
  80. "Single copy license"
  81. You receive a single master copy of the manual, and a license
  82. permitting you to make exactly one copy of that original for archival
  83. purposes only.
  84.  
  85. "Media:"
  86. All manual licenses include a diskette with the most recent version
  87. of the Software.
  88.  
  89. Credit terms:
  90. Our terms for payment on credit are STRICTLY net 30 days. No monthly
  91. statement is issued - we require payment on invoice.
  92.  
  93. Shipment:
  94. Shipment is by EMS (Express Mail Service). We cannot ship via UPS,
  95. Federal Express, or any other courier company, and we cannot charge
  96. freight to an account. We can ship by airmail on request - please
  97. make sure the requirement is clearly stated on your order. Requests
  98. for shipment by other means will result in delays, and may result
  99. in your order not being processed.

  101. Prepayment:
  102. If you prepay your order, your payment will not be presented until
  103. the day your manual is shipped. In general, we prefer that you do
  104. not prepay orders - we would sooner receive a purchase order and
  105. accept payment on invoice.

  107. Pro-forma invoices, acknowledgments, quotations and bids:
  108. Because of the sheer volume of paperwork we have to process, we
  109. regret that we cannot supply pro-forma invoices, quotations or bids,
  110. and cannot acknowledge receipt of orders other than via e-mail if
  111. specifically requested.

  113. US IRS taxpayer requirements:
  114. The vendor is not an American citizen and is not resident in the
  115. United States for tax purposes: consequently, requests for FEINs,
  116. social security numbers or other US Taxation requirements cannot
  117. be complied with and will receive no reply.
  118.  
  119. Withholding taxes on payments:
  120. We will not accept payments from which withholding tax deductions
  121. have been made unless those deductions have been made in compliance
  122. with the laws of New Zealand. If you deduct withholding tax from
  123. your remittance, your payment will be rejected even if you do so in
  124. compliance with the laws of your own country. Such deductions are a
  125. matter between you and your own government.

  127. Credit card payments:
  128. * A 2.5% surcharge applies to credit card payments
  129. * Credit card payments will be converted to New Zealand dollars
  130.   using the prevailing exchange rate on the date your manual is
  131.   shipped to you. The amount you see on your credit card statement
  132.   will probably not be exactly the amount shown on the order form
  133.   above.
